Méditerranée : y a-t-il encore des voies pour le dialogue interculturel ?

Échange ouvert destiné à favoriser la compréhension et l’appréciation de la diversité culturelle, le dialogue interculturel semble avoir été inventé pour la Méditerranée, tant cette aire géographique rassemble en son sein autant d’atouts que de handicaps pour faire de l’interculturalité un principe fédérateur et identitaire à même d’y garantir la paix et la résolution des conflits qui la caractérise. Quelles sont les caractéristiques de ce dialogue ? Quelles en sont les modalités actuelles et leurs limites ? Est-il encore possible ? Quels en sont les dynamiques et les freins dans un monde globalisé mais fragmenté ?

The Mediterranean: are there still pathways for intercultural dialogue?

An open exchange designed to foster understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity, intercultural dialogue seems to have been tailor-made for the Mediterranean, given that this geographical region possesses as many strengths as it does challenges when it comes to making interculturalism a unifying principle and a defining feature of identity, capable of ensuring the peace and conflict resolution that distinguish it. What are the features of this dialogue? What are its current forms and limitations? Is it still possible? What are its driving forces and obstacles in a globalised yet fragmented world?
