Show resume

Born queen of Scotland and acceding to the throne of France at 17, Mary Stuart seemed destined to a radiant future. But Fate had other plans for this carefree girl : her intransigeance and her need for freedom would cost her 20 years of captivity and ultimately her death.

We find her shut away in her fortress where she has lost nothing of her courage or her pride. Alone with her memories, with the ghosts of men she has loved and haunted by her great rival Elizabeth I, by whom she has been condemned to death by decapitation, Mary Stuart is ready to play out the story of her life one last time. For tomorrow, she will die.
