Florence Caillon - Choréographer

After an initial career as an actress and cabaret dancer, Florence Caillon now leads two parallel activities : Circassian choreographer and composer.
In 1999, she founded L'Eolienne and developed a mix between circus movement and dance, which she called circus choreographed. While initiating this mixture of circus and dance techniques, she quickly lost interest in the traditional Circassian prowess and preferred other forms of solicitation of the body, less sensational and less competitive.
Currently, she is deepening research on the decomposition of acrobatic movement, on the ground and in the air, and on the instinctive energies of the body.

Composer of music in the image, she has to his credit about sixty feature films (TV and cinema). For ten years (2002-2012), she signed the music for the series Boulevard du Palais for France Télévision. In 2006, she won the Music Prize at the Fiction TV Festival for The Blood of Strawberries, directed by Manuel Poirier. She also composes for the youth, including the song of the credits of the cartoon The Stories of Father Castor. In 2018, she composed the music for feature film Who Killed Lady Winsley, by Hiner Saleem.
